A stack of freshly cut logs in the forest. They were so fresh the smell of sawn wood was all around!

Good clean shot, might be worth bringing the brightness down a little that should bring the colours out more, but otherwise l realy like it

Russell - A photo with such strong contrast of light and dark provides a challenge to balance the lighting. You did a nice job with the end cuts of the logs facing the viewer. However, the top of the logs as well as the tree in to the right are a bit too bright and should be darkened a bit. As with the previous comments, you have made a log pile interesting to view. (Perhaps viewing this on a cold winter day, thinking about the heat they could provide, adds to this? lol) Thad
