It does look somewhat like a flower Rob. It probably has a trunk instead of a stem. Good manip.

Rob, I saw this in the VB and gave it an "8". Since I've never awarded a "10" (10 being perfect and nothing is perfect), a handful of "9's" and an occasional "8", you must know that I'm a fan and that your work, like a fungus, is growing on me. I see the wooden but not the flower. Then again I spent the day doing weed abatement on the steep slopes behind my house. Since I use a very powerful weed eater, my face and clothes were splattered with poison oak, thistle and stickers of every sort; so maybe I'm not capable of anything bordering on simple thinking. Extremely creative posting.

Nice manipulation work, Rob. I think the wood textures need to be dialed back in this image so the flower's form shows through more. I like the colour tones of the image.
