It looks like someone has set her wig on fire Rob. I know it looks good and that's about the extent of my knowledge of Apophysis 7.15. The textures in the background look good.
Rob, when I first viewed this at the small scale, I thought that you had finally got tired of that hairy mole on your nose and chopped it off with a dull knife. Upon closer examination at full size, I now see that your skin looks very weather beaten and aged like old leather or bark. Probably too much time out in the sun although I didn't think there was anything but thick fog and gray polluted skies from your shots of Rotterdam. Maybe it happened on the day that you stuck your head into that billowing smoke stack after I had warned you. Some people never learn.
Seriously, Rob, I sometimes have difficulty critiquing your shots since I don't understand the process. I like the way this looks and your choice of colors and textures. Nice balance as well. However, if this were a mole removal, you should go to a doctor next time.
A cave wall and ceiling with some cobwebs or tree roots coated in red dust indicating air movement, so we know we won't suffocate should we find ourselves trapped here. Good work on this image, Rob. Wonderful textures in the image.
