There are a lot of tiny small houses between the big ones...

Nice harbour view :o)

WOW! This is a terrific photo. The boat on that dark, still water. The roofs got my attention first in the photo. Super focus.

Now this is a change of pace for you, Rob. The cityscape is delightful and makes me want to get a passport and visit the Netherlands. This is a wonderfully detailed shot of a strange and foreign land. Only in high density places like San Francisco do they have houses with shared walls. Around here in the sticks, you're lucky if you can see the smoke from your neighbor's chimney during the winter. We're pretty spread out here. Just love the colors interspersed throughout the shot and that bit of reflection. Personally I would have cloned out that dark blob in the lower left.

Beautiful scene, Rob. I like the out-of-the-shadows shot. It offers such wonderful visual contrasts of light and dark.

Rob - THough the lower left is a bit too dark (in my opinion), the scene is very pretty. THe overarching foreground branch helps frame the image nicely. Thad

Sfeervolle mooie fotografie Rob, alsof de tijd heeft vsil gestaan. Lekker het groen meegenomen als natuurlijke framing. Ben er weg van :-)! Mich

Very nicely composed image. Lighting here is really great. White paintings of the houses and the boat add life to this scene. The houses look so cute, clean and clear.

One of your best photos Rob. The houses look well maintained.
The view across the canal is eye catching.
