You are the champion of the working man Rob. Not unlike Merle Haggard. It shows that everything in life isn't roses and fall colors. Good post. Keep voting this weekend and Monday if you would. Thanks
Good work capturing and presenting this scene, Rob. Nice clarity and details in the photo and good lighting. Looks like an odd place to set up circus tents. But land is at a premium over there so it kind of makes sense. The elephants do blend in well with the industrial steel grey of the background.
I'm pretty sure it's steam but you can call it smoke because it's your image:):) If I hadn't said it Wendell would have. Ha Ha I beat you to it "Eubeen":):) Nice shot Rob.
The first thing I noticed was the gigantic phone booth on the far right. I happen to know that Clark Kent uses that particular telephone booth to change into his Superman outfit. It saddens me to know that Clark is taking steroids again. Back when he was clean and sober and didn't rely on anything but his natural abilities, he used a regular size phone booth. Our former governor Arnold "The Governator" took steroids for yours. Imagine a drug abusing bad influence getting into politics. Unheard of and shocking.
Excellent shot of this humongous industrial complex. Do you have any idea what they do there? The vastness of this complex is emphasized by the tiny shipping containers in the foreground. Probably make wooden shoes, don't you think?
Like Wendell I am curious about the circus tents. Maybe they make animals there.
The emissions look more like steam than smoke. I think the Netherlands is way ahead of the world on keeping the environment is good shape.
Excellent shot. With that being steam, perhaps you can make this your entry in the "Water" contest.
