Een foto uit ouder tijden als je de autos niet meerekend... zeer fraai. Voor mijn persoonlijke smaak had het blauw iets minder knallend gekund. Erg goede editing en foto Rob! Mich

It is pretty, but I'm wondering what it is behind the mast on the shore.

I agree with Mitch about the blue is a bit to much, but nonetheless a great shot and wonderful treatment:o)

An interesting capture and nice composition of the scene, Rob. Nice work on the lighting and colours.

The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does. ~William Blake

Hi, Rob....

Thanks for the more complete narrative. When you just say, "A Paint.net manip" it doesn't mean much to me. Sometimes your manipulations are extreme and sometimes I would hardly call them a manipulation. I can see that your image is not a simple snapshot and that post-photo work has been done. But unless you add a swan's head or turn the buildings upside down, It's barely a manipulation. It looks like you maybe brightened the blue a tinge and darkened everything else to make the boat stand out from the rest of the shot. If this is a shot of a rusty nail that you turned into a boat, I'd call that manipulation. Otherwise this is in the boat category.

There's something very magical and mystical in the background lighting. The trees and even the cars have a unique look about them. The background building looks great but has something mystical in it's lighting as well. Your post photo work is brilliant. Sure wish I knew how you did it.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Great use of bright blue color and contrast. Nicely ballanced composition.
