I like the subject, Rob. I'm just so sure that I care for the treatment but I'm having trouble figuring out why. The first thing that comes to mind is that it's a really neat looking scene which I probably would have enjoyed more thoroughly in it's natural state since we don't have cobblestone streets or these old structures here. All of the components are there such as texture and detail. There's just something about that etched look that might be a nice experiment in Paint.net but that rubs me the wrong way.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Very unusual looking texture in this scene and i do like the colours.Love the little red Beetle at the end of the street. The only problem I see is the buildings seem to all merge into one if you know what I mean. But still very nice manipulation.

Well, well, dear agent.
I guess on account of the weather you are also getting short of new images. I recognised this one at once by the red beetle !!! LOL
I do like any manipulation these days and editing, overediting even and so on.
Nevertheless this is good that you stopped at some certain stage with the editing LOL
This is quite charming - the little red beetle chiefly !!! LOL

Who's the mysterious stranger bent over on the right hand side of the street? Are they waiting for whoever comes out of #7, or are they just some innocent caught up in intrigue?

A nice perspective in this capture, Rob. Good post work treatment of the photo. Nice textures and details showing through. Great job and presentation.

I really like the almost lack of color. A great manip my friend. Very well composed.

I don't know about anyone else, but I love this type of work. I like the dynamic dark tone and the tad of color added. Unique.

I love these quaint, curving streets, though it appears contrast heavy. I thought it was a bit too busy to concentrate easily, and smoothly until I recognized the perspective distortion, with the buildings leaning back... further as you neared the end of the street. The real distractions are on the right side, and other than the roof peak in the trees, are really not distinguishable as subject material.
