Love the the light and shade in this post and the blue sky at the end of the street plus the textures and colours in the buildings.Well done to a lovely piece of art work!
I really like this Rob. Every city has a "dark side", and there's no point in hiding it. These shots always remind me of my childhood and my own hometown neighborhood. Very nice work my friend!

Stunningly perfect, Rob. I can actually smell the stench from here. You have captured the essence of the back alley like nobody else could have done. This shot reeks of grunge and decomposing bums. Right to the faves.
This looks a very old area with its cobbles. A truly atmospheric capture - and it makes me want to get out of the shadows. A remarkable image that I keep coming back to.
I went to Rotterdam once - never saw this part of it though. My main memory is eating too much delicious Dutch chocolate :))
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Outside of a few imperfections where you dropped the sky into the scene this is a great looking image Rob. I like the shading in the scene. Great textures and a good perspective.
