Rob, his face could be constructed in a similar way as Frankenstein's monster, with the major difference that your result is far better because it's not a frightening face but a friendly one.

Even though we can't see the eyes, we can imagine them and that, I think, is what makes this piece Rob. The textures are intriguing throughout the face.
