I found the photographer Fritz Henle to be quite interesting.
He was born in Germany and the Hired Hand, this being 1942, was most likely off to fight in the war.
I wonder if Frank had any opinion on what was going on in Europe at the time.
Your colorization makes me think he was alert to his surroundings and was a thinker.
It's amazing where one photo and a little information can lead you. Faved!!

Rob, the by you, in your narrative, quoted title of the original B&W image is a story on its own. It shows perfectly that the indirect consequences of war also can affect outsiders as well. Still actual today! Like to say as well that in my opinion your choice for a not overdone colorization is a very apt one, because it reflects to a certain extent the mood in, and the time spirit of that era perfectly. Kudos again, my friend.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I agree with Lyneve's comment, "now enhanced to new reality by your skills" a perfect observation. Colors and tones are impressive. We sure are lucky to have the ability to view your tremendous contribution to the art world.
