I immediately thought of this song Rob.
Neighborhoods used to be identified by their Ethnic Groups before Political Correctness. This is obviously the case in this photo.
Another well done colorization and I can't help but wonder what guides you as to what colors to use. They seem to be very appropriate in this case.

Rob, referring to Tick's comment above: the by you chosen color scheme's are always that natural, that I can't imagine that another one would fit. You're a master in this branch of art.

I enjoy the by Tick provided music link as well (skip a rope by Henson Cargill). If I were female person, sure I would have had nostalgic feelings by viewing this capture. To create some nostalgic feelings to me as well, maybe you can provide us with an image where boys are playing marbles, 😁 .
Just kidding of course. Thanks anyhow for another perfectly done job, my friend!

For me, this does bring nostalgic feelings...how well I remember the fun had with the simple skipping rope...and that fun is obvious on the faces of the kids here too..as always, a most fitting color change for the times...great work, Rob, and a fave for me.

Children are children everywhere - how many of us can remember doing exactly the same and recall some of the little songs we sang as we did so. Mine likely different to this group's.
That delightful little girl would be so pleased you matched her socks to her cardigan.
Perfect, as always Rob

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Just the right amount of colorization. Can someone take a photo of you doing this so that we can see you .. and you can post it? It would be so interesting.
