Child labor laws finally caught up with manufacturers and probably saved a lot of lives Rob.
However, sometimes it was the jobs held by the children that let the family survive.
Looks like they are taking a break at the Textile Plant and are fascinated by the camera. The children seem happier then the adults.
Excellent colorization once again Rob.
The mill has been converted into upscale apartments. You can take a look here. I wonder if the DNA from the sweat of the workers still lingers.

Rob, although the boys try to pose cramped and with that they may inadvertently conceal the harsh reality, the photograph, on the other hand, tells the real story of the miserable situation in this era.
With your perfect colorization you've enhanced this effect.
