I totally love that wooden shingle siding Rob. Your coloring makes it really appealing. I also like how you colored the attire of the kids in the window. This scene if full of eye pleasing colors and textures.
They make replica shingle siding like this now. It's all the rage!

Rob, when I look at the original B&W-photograph, a sad feeling comes over me. It's as if the children are trapped in a depressing environment.
But your characteristic way of coloring makes it looks like a magic wand has touched this photograph. A complete metamorphosis from depressing to optimistic. That is your merit. Compliments for that, 👍 !

Great choice in going with the dark sepia color for this old house...it adds warmth and appeal and good work on the kids' clothing too.
