I found an article where a renovation of the Trenton Mills Factory is in the works. You can read about it here.
Wonderful coloring in this Rob. The girls looks like she has been working all day. I hope she had a better life later on then the one she was leading when this photo was taken.
You are our colorized eye to the past Rob.
Again, top notch work.

I find the shades and tones used are excellent for this scene, so dramatic.

Rob, I tried to follow Tick's link, but apparently this newspaper article is not accessible to readers from certain countries
(www.gastongazette.com - Access Denied, Error code 16, This request was blocked by the security rules). Unfortunately!
The name 'help sister in mill' probably obscures the raw reality. I suppose that the term 'young girl without any prospects for the future' would have been closer to reality.
I express the hope, like Tick did, that she later had a better life than shown here.
Here too, your perfect way of coloring accentuates the often worrying conditions in this day and age, without any embellishment from your side.
Great job again!

It is not so easy to colourise an old photo and make it look as though the colours have been there all the time but you have succeeded once again ! Very nice work.
