Rob, for the ones who like to know more of the famous German-American photographer Arnold Genthe, here's the LINK.
This photograph is probably taken in New York, because in 1911 he moved from San Francisco to New York. He became an even more famous portrait photographer there than he already was. In New York, he took photographs of Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, John D. Rockefeller and other celebrities. A series of portraits of Greta Garbo became very well known. In 1916 a series of photos of the dancers Anna Pavlova, Isadora Duncan and Ruth St. Denis were successfully published in The Book of the Dance.
The perfectly by you chosen colors fit perfectly for a famous photographer that he was.
Very well done, per usual, 👍 !
