"Here's Johnny!" Looks like a scene right out of "The Shining," Rob. Great colorization, as always.

Rob, although the woman and her children look well cared for, I think the family is struggling with a certain amount of poverty. The signs of this are the defective plasterwork on the ceiling and on the walls of the room, the bare wooden floor, the poor lighting, and the bare footed children. Despite this, I suppose it is a harmonious family. If so, then your perfect way of colorization does still justice to this family.
Great job again!

That is an unusual picture. It looks like they were trying for some abstract art. I agree with Cornelious about the traces of poverty in it. Great job, Rob!

Beautifully coloured Rob.
The children a barefooted but the mum has her heels on. They all look healthy. The posing of the subject is most unusual for that point in time. I think the photographer was ahead of his time :) I agree with others he house looks dilapidated and he shadows give it a eerie look :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
