I took this with my 300mm. An otherwize abstract background, but with the sun sharply focused in the center.

i havent really taken pictures of the sun, but did u have to use a polarized lens for this?

I believe I did use a polerized lense just to decrease the light intake. The amount of light coming through a 300mm lense directly pointed at the sun is more than one thinks...hehe
