From my Kinkade period. Not much to show for 382 hours of render time though.

16 days to render?! Your poor computer must have been exhausted! Very Kinkadian in deed. I don't know anything about rendered landscapes but I know you managed an exceptional one with this. I love all the foreground detail and over all would not change a thing. Looks great.

If ever I ran into a scene like this in a game, I'd fall to my feet. This is superb!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Gave this a high rating in the VB! Must admit though that I thought it was made in photoshop... did not realise it was completly rendered. So excellent work!!!

Thanks everyone. I really don't know why it took so long, but there are a lot of reflective surfaces and each one interacts with the others. Maybe the bouillabaisse was just a little too thick.

Yeah I bet your render time came from the water and the math it took to relfect all of those plants. From the looks you had the quality boot way up on atmospheres as well because the whole scene is very crisp and clear. It looks good.
