You can see the long, triangular proboscis extended for feeding, just to the left of the antenna. It's actually a tube for ingesting, not a solid tongue. The circular reflection in the compound eye is from the ring flash at the front of the macro lens. You can also see the flash reflection in one of the three primitive eyes or ocelli, on top of the head. This shot is at about 1.5X to 2X. Any more magnification and it's almost impossible to track them with the limited DOF. Still, once in awhile I get lucky and they stop for just an instant. And they all look like they have wild, punk hairdos.
