1X macro shot of a one inch magenta blossom just prior to opening. They grow profusely on a 2-3 meter tree located at the entrance to the local arboretum.

Nice composition. Your photographs are inspiring to me. I have a magenta holiday cactus in bloom but havent been able to get a really good shot yet, maybe I'll give it another go. Thanks for sharing.
