The full aspect version of Honeybee #9, un-cropped & with the same orientation as shot. Taken handheld at about 2X with the Canon MP-E 65 macro lens & Canon 60D body, the strobe was an MR-14EX ring flash. Settings were f/14, 1/250 sec & ISO 100. Not as detailed and perfectly exposed as some macro pictures on the web, which are often done in more controlled conditions and focus stacked from multiple exposures. I like the spontaneous shot that through preparation and good fortune, turns out pretty good. Unless I can shoot a better pic, I'll make this my entry in the latest contest. Edit: I changed my entry to Honeybee #11
Best of luck in the contest.
