A different angle on this delicate little flower. They grow about a foot tall and seem to prefer moist, shaded ground. The near bloom is almost fully open and about half an inch across the flared end. There wasn't a particular feature to focus on, so I went for the tip curling toward the camera. The whole shot is very soft and dreamlike, which I liked, so I didn't sharpen it at all. I also couldn't shoehorn it into a 16:9 desktop & so left it in the original 3:2 with a slight crop.

Thanks Tom.

I like compositions with diagonals in them. That could be boundary lines or elongated objects either originating in a corner or terminating in a corner. Its simple and esthetic, at least for me.
