I caught this little drama unfolding on the edge of a daisy-like flower. Even together they were the size of a grain of rice and difficult to see. The weather was turning bad fast, so I took two shots at about 4X-5X and moved on, not really knowing what I had. Turns out, only life & death. I've recently been told that the predator is a rove beetle larva and that the victim is a variegated carpet beetle.

Great shot! I get little surprises like that all the time. Little bugs I didn't even know were there that make the shot so much better.
