A strange and funny little flower but rather lovely. Its almost like tentacles reaching out. I would say that i wish it wasnt quite so centred and that a composition which is slightly off centre would have looked more pleasing. Also parts of the flower are a little out of focus and some are very sharp. Its always difficult to photograph such a tiny thing and get the depth of field right. Its definitely something i struggle with.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
Thank you both for the comments. Much appreciated.
The composition is a bit awkward, but out of the 5 to 10 shots I may take of a particular plant, most or all won't make the cut. The new lens has improved on that average, but there always has to be a 'best of'. And getting proper focus in macrophotography is difficult in the best of circumstances, so good focus usually trumps good composition.
