Some small, complex flowers I've never seen before. While shooting them, I was so involved, that right after the next shot I felt something crawling on my left arm & I just shook it off, thinking it was a fly. It wasn't. It was a good sized wasp & I hadn't been stung. It just hung in the air looking at me, so I decided to move on while I was ahead.

I have never seen such a flower either, Russ. You were wise to

move on and let the wasp have the whole thing to himself.

Don't get too close to them. They look like drill bits, looking for a target. Certainly are beautiful. Probably carnivorous :-)
Nicely handled, Russ.

Thank you for the nice comments everyone.

It wasn't the worst photographic interruption I've ever had, so I consider myself lucky.
