A deceased Manzanita tree, near Anza, California. The way the wood weathers & bleaches in the hot sun gives it the nickname 'Mountain Driftwood'. I liked this specimen for it's color and shape.

I think there's a Troll in that hole at the bottom right of that driftwood. Whenever I see anything like that, the Medusa's invariably come to mind.
