Another three shot test panorama taken at the arboretum using shift on the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II tilt/shift lens. This time from a Sirui P-324X monopod that has three fold-down 'feet' which convert it into a useable tripod. It's marketed as a video monopod that swivels, which isn't needed for this type of panorama. With care and a remote it was doable, but sway from the wind can be a problem. The advantage is quick set up and a very small footprint. The three shots produced a composite image of just under 9000 pixels wide, resized here down to 3200 pixels for website restrictions. Posted more to show what this lens is capable of, even in the hands of a dilettante like me, than as a beautiful vista. The wildness of the place could look like a vacant lot to some people, I suppose. Especially in the overcast, muted light this was shot in.
