Another three shot test panorama taken at the arboretum using shift on the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II tilt/shift lens. This time from a Sirui P-324X monopod that has three fold-down 'feet' which convert it into a useable tripod. It's marketed as a video monopod that swivels, which isn't needed for this type of panorama. With care and a remote it was doable, but sway from the wind can be a problem. The advantage is quick set up and a very small footprint. The three shots produced a composite image of just under 9000 pixels wide, resized here down to 3200 pixels for website restrictions. Posted more to show what this lens is capable of, even in the hands of a dilettante like me, than as a beautiful vista. The wildness of the place could look like a vacant lot to some people, I suppose. Especially in the overcast, muted light this was shot in.

Opened full size the amount of detail is very impressive !
It is a nice scene. Perhaps a little Colour Boost would make it more appealing. That is just my personal opinion and in no way detracts from what you have presented :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Thank you very much everyone. I really appreciate it.

When I was younger, I wanted a medium format film camera, like the Mamiya 645 system, but lacked the deep pockets. Today, using the full frame Canon 6D and this incredible lens, I can equal the resolution of some digital medium format cameras. All in a much smaller package.

I'd say you are really improved with the panoramic shots. Not as easy as some people might think. Very well done
