A brighter and more colorful image of the same area of the Fullerton Arboretum as the first one, taken three weeks ago. This is also a three shot composite image, using the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II tilt/shift lens. Both tilt and shift were used here, shift for the extra-wide angle of view and tilt to move the plane of focus close to perpendicular to the sensor. One of the tricky things about tilt is getting the reoriented plane of focus to go through the right parts of the picture. Anything above or below that plane is out of focus, which is quite visible in this image. As a compromise, I don't think it turned out too bad.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have any film.

It's a beautiful shot, and sharpness is perfectly acceptable for the subject material, Russ.

Thank you everyone, I'm happy you liked it. The arboretum is an amazingly varied place.

And I finally figured out the EOS Remote app on my iPad, so I should get better shots in the future.
