"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Wow. This is a great picture. It really shows the hard and laborious work people have to endure in agriculture. It's so easy to just go to the grocery store and pick up food without giving a second thought to the work that you captured here. Thank you for this posting.
Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.
This looks hard on the back...no machinery, and all done by hand. I agree with Angela, about taking food for granted from the shops. Excellent real life image....waiting for next pic..Jacquie
Gosh what they have to go through just to bring us that yummy pudding. Can you say "back pain"? Great shot, Sayed. I'm riveted and waiting for the next one.! :o)
I love this shot. A lot of work is going on here and the people look like they are really focused on it. There is a blessing in doing these things by hand, both for the people preparing the tubers, but also for those of us who eat the final product. A very thoughtful post, Sayed.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
