I like this a lot. I find myself very interested in the goings on here. Who are these guys? What's the temperature? How does it smell? What's that smoke in the distance? The intense yellow is a terrific foreground. Nicely done.
"There are no rules and regulations for perfect composition. If there were we would be able to put all the information into a computer and would come out with a masterpiece. We know that's impossible. You have to compose by the seat of your pants." -Arnold Newman
Haha...oh but the best way to conclude it would be a shot of someone eating it! But I agree with the above comment...this picture captures the atmosphere of the marketplace, and adds to the different environments that the tapioca has traveled to. You've done an awesome job with these shots, great captures throughout this series :)
Hi Sayed
Those scales on the back of the truck are a very important piece of kit there'd no sale without them. Is this the end of the series ? Doesn't it it get beaten into a pasty pulp, and dried into a powder for export ? To quote Charles Dickens "Oliver Twist" please Sir can we have some more !!

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.
Hi Sayed, I really want to be where this Tapioca truck is, to buy some and take it home, smell the smells and taste it fresh. I'd love to see more. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful journey with us! :o)
This just came up in the Voting Booth. I have it high marks for the human interest in it. Very good. I really like the expression on the man's face. ;-)
Sorry that I haven't been commenting more. Just got lazy? But I did look at most of them. And again, thanks to all of you for your comments on mine.
Steve
Well, I know what it tastes like after the "beads" I've purchased in the store are soaked and cooked, but I'd love to taste it fresh. Almost everything I've ever had in my life tastes better right off the "truck" so to speak !! I really enjoyed this series, my friend :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Some of the crop must be exported, no? It would be interesting to see what happens to it after this too. Can you follow a customer home and photograph what they do with the tuber? Wonderful series, Sayed. I love it. I'm sorry to see it end.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

A brilliant series, Sayed. It has really made me appreciate the work involved in producing this tasty food. Are we all round yours for tea, to sample the finished product?..LOL.
A great shot, with a lot of expression....thanks for sharing...Jacquie
