Kind of sad that it is cheaper to hire people to do it all by hand instead of bring in a tractor.

Poor guy, after doing a lot of digging in my garden I know how he feels! I bet they have more fun filling it back in. Another great shot my friend.

The composition of this photo is terrific! The vertical lines heading on toward the horizon, the variety of color,the juxtaposition of the stairway angling into the trench, the textures of the rock within the dirt, and of course, the ache of the work itself and the capture of the deepness and darkness of the trench along with the fragility of the walls leading downward into it. Excellent job. Hopefully you'll be able to upload your next offering in a larger size. May you know success and fulfillment.

The perspective is good on this shot also. The colors are nice and bright. That is a lot of hard work digging a trench like this by hand. It looks like quite a few stones to have to contend with as well.
