In all honesty, they would not survive in the wild. They are budgerigahs. Small parrakeets, native to Australia, who live in the wild in large flocks, numbering in the hundreds for survival.Their natural colour is the bird on the left. The bird on the right is the result of selective breeding by enthusiasts.

I don't like to cage animals, but in truth, we have two of these and they resemble the one on the right. They are my daughter's birds.
