Planting paddy saplings doesn't look like much fun.
Your photographs are very interesting. The subject matter in this one is amazing to a city boy like me from Midwestern USA. Good capture of the reflection in the muddy water. Great colors, and I especially like the vertical contrast of the palm tree trunks in the background.

A good shot with plenty of cultural emphasis, but with that variety of colors in the women's clothing, I think I would have waited until they were all in the sun, stepping down the exposure a little so the highlights wouldn't burn out, and getting loads of bright colors. I think I would have crouched down as well, to get a lower level photo and to crop in a little tighter After all, the main subject matter is the women and what they're doing. The best shots are often the ones taken from unusual angles. A good eye. Keep 'em coming.

So colourful! I always worry about the strain on these poor womens backs. I am going to look back through your pics to see if I can spot the same women and how they have or havent aged. ( so curious lol)
