Well I have to say, when this came up as a vote picture for me I stepped (metaphorically) back from my screen. This has some definite creepy vibes happening. It is a little to blurry to get high marks perhaps, but a great scarry idea indeed. I would like to see this manip refined a little and perhaps you could look for some clearer stock images. Your not far off from having a very interesting piece. The stockexchange ( www.sxc.hu/index.phtml ) usually has a good selection of free images that come in larger files. The larger the file the less chance it will be blurry. The tree looks quite clear and the grooves and indents do seem to have face like qualities. I would like to encourage you in this because I see you are very interested in digital manipulation. There are some hurdles to get over when first learning this stuff, but Caedes is the place to learn. There are a good handful of us artists here who love digi manipulation. Track us down and PM us with questions. We are usually more than happy to lend advice. If you are working with Adobe Photoshop I can answer questions if you have some. I'm not learned in Paintshop Pro but if that's your program others around here do work with that as well. Good luck, thanx for sharing with us!!.........................................LPF

this looks like something from a movie, great job. it seems almost spooky, but i can't stop looking at it. and the eyes on the tree are very pretty.
