I like the manip you've done to the background...it's of interest that it changes from a "real" to a more blurred effect on the right. I like the statue as well, although I think that she'd be better served if she was "stretched" out a bit...just IMHP :)PJ
I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
nice image.. i think that the background is particularly creative. The statue feels a little stretched longways... although im not sure whether it actually has been stretched.
Thanks all - and yes I stretched her - suppose I should have widened her to then ay! Honestly, I wasn't as happy as I thought I'd be with this creation ... it was just okay, but I caved and finished it so I could apease my 4 year old that wanted to cuddle - now how do you pass that up!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR ALWAYS STOPPING BY! I TRULY APPRECIATE IT!
“Now I know the things I know, and I do the things I do; and if you do not like me so, to hell, my love, with you!”
~Dorothy Parker (American short-story Writer and Poet, 1893-1967)
PS- JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, I JUST CANNOT KEEP UP WITH THE THANK YOU'S AND STILL HAVE TIME TO ENJOY ALL YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORK - SO PLEASE KNOW THAT I APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!!!!
The background is remarkable. It's good to see things I haven't seen before. But like most everyone else mentioned, the statue looks squished (to me) and it distracts from the overall image. Would it be hard to fix it and repost?
Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill
