How lovely to see the original of this picture. It really is a stunner thanks to the tremendous depth of perspective you've achieved, helped too by the natural light coming in from above the stairs and through the far window. Great sharpness, clarity and colour.
Saw it in the Voting Booth a few seconds ago and have given it high marks. Well done... a marvellous shot, Tony. (And good to know where it is, too!)
Oooh, I totally can believe that. As I stared at the image I got goosebumps! That must mean something, right? Thanks for sharing this great image with us.
Yup, this certainly goes into my "Castles and Cathedreals" file.
If I had lived there once upon a time, that entry would have reminded me each and every time what a heavily fortified place I lived in -- and why. Yikes.
As the little boy said to his parents as he watched the evening news, "I hope nobody ever liberates US!"
This is awesome Tony and I like it so much better than the first post. The eye goes right where it's meant to be and the depth is terrific. What a wonderful post and I just had it in the voting booth as well and said so :). Thanks for bringing this one to us.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
