How lovely to see the original of this picture. It really is a stunner thanks to the tremendous depth of perspective you've achieved, helped too by the natural light coming in from above the stairs and through the far window. Great sharpness, clarity and colour.

Saw it in the Voting Booth a few seconds ago and have given it high marks. Well done... a marvellous shot, Tony. (And good to know where it is, too!)

Yup, this certainly goes into my "Castles and Cathedreals" file.

If I had lived there once upon a time, that entry would have reminded me each and every time what a heavily fortified place I lived in -- and why. Yikes.
