This is an excellent shot, capturing the motion (and emotion) perfectly. However the framing really ruins and detracts from the shot. I would love to see the image without the frame and perhaps just cropping in on the dog in the water.

Mark, perhaps I agree about the frame but the essence of this photo really cancels it out. A dog trying to catch rocks??? WHAT kind of dog is this? Looks like a Brittany - this is a great shot and great post! ~Mary~

I laughed at this shot. The dog really looks like he is enjoying himself. The frame looks like it might be made of leather and be the perfect thing for a desktop at the office.
