This is Burrator, the main water feed for Plymouth, without this, no cups of tea or coffee, when the water drops in a hot summer, you can see the top of the old church in the middle of the lake, under water prayers, by the Rev A Drip . . .

:) Just have to put out a rainbarrel to store up for those hard times, Mark. I think this is the most trees in one place that I have seen in shots of England. I love the little buildings (church)peeping out from behind the greenery. This is an excellent perspective.

It's nice. Myself, perhaps would've walked down and away right to grab a little more detail of the structure which lie beyond and to loss some foreground as there's much to absorb.

Zat make sense??

Pretty place pal!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Hey, I was in Plymouth today. Plymouth, Ohio, that is. Nothing to take pictures of there, though. Just passing through. This is a fantastic view from where you were to get this shot. Super nice.

This is so pretty Mark...just out walkin' were ya? Nice spot for that..and I bet it was cool too. Hot here still. I kind of agree with Hottieman..I'd love to see the view a bit closer and lose some of the downward hill. But either way, it's a great shot. I'm glad you are showing us more of your part of the world. So, now, where is your house?(smiling here) V

Love the idea of drowned towns and villages under reservoirs. Looks like a great place for a summer's day.
