CollegeKid21 (Robin) and sasraku (Mark) became friends on Caedes a short while ago, then they both found out they both had a pure passion for photography, Mark saw a photo Robin had posted and asked her if he could use it on the football site he runs, Robin said' Yes', so on the site it went, it was then when they both found out they also had a love for the same sport, although Robin was in a girls team and Mark was involved with men's football, it just didn't matter to either of them, so Mark then put a photo of the girls on the website, and the response from the UK side of the pond went mad with excitement, so Mark seeing this said to Robin, 'lets team up, and now we have, we will be photographing both teams, swapping info, and much more, I cant speak for the girls in the USA, but for us in the UK we are so happy to have the girls on our site, I think it's just great, and I would think from what Robin tells me, they are going to be as happy as we are, wonderful eh, never met, never spoken to each other, but a bond was made which we both hope will last for ever, and lets face it, we were together in wars, and much more to say the least . . . so if any of you want to see more on this, just go to www.tavistockafc.com also, we have a guestbook on the site if you want to leave a message or just your thoughts on this subject, we would just love it if you did. So, here's to the new team on the planet . . . Tavibobcats United Football Club . . . . Yeah ! Re edit, just had this email from a man in the USA about Football, this you just got to read . . . . Ha ! I just had an email from a man in the USA, he told me that in the last world cup, the USA were so much better than England to this I had to agree with him, he said we ( USA ) played soccer much better than you (England), So I sent him a real nice email back, I said, 'As for your comment about soccer, the English invented the game and it's called 'FOOTBALL' you named it soccer, not us, we have won the world cup, have you ? NO, yes you have some real good players in the USA national side, but if you just look and see, 80% of the USA team play the game we call football in the English Premiership League, and as you will be told by people who really know about football if you dare to ask them, that the Premiership in England is the hardest, fastest and the best league to play in the world, not do the people in England say this, but the football giants of the world, teams like Brazil, Germany, Italy, France, Holland, The new world champions, Spain, you see now why the English team finds it hard to play well, because 98% of the worlds greatest players, want to play in England, for teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Everton, Arsenal, and as these teams are so rich, they can buy the very best in the world, they end up great sides, and that our problem with the national team, our young talented lads sit on the subs bench just praying one of the superstars gets a knock, and then, and only then, may he get a chance to get on the grass and play . . . If I was the head of the English FA, I would make it law that every team in England is only allowed to have a maximum number of 4 non English players in the team squad of 23, this would then let our home grown talent to learn the game and press on to greater things, and guess what, The FA are now talking about doing it, so maybe it will be a good thing, and lets face it, most of us will agree that to pay one player, say like Wayne Rooney age 22 £160.000 ( Say $250.000 ) not a week, but per game, and most teams do play 2 games a week over here, so, 1 player getting £320.000 wages in one week is just absurd, just think about that for a short while, he gets £320.000 for shall we say or dare we say, working for just 3, yes 3 hours a week . . . . so for the average Man or Woman in the UK to earn that would take them 16 years, and he works 3 mins, the world has gone totally mad, and just one thing before I go, Manchester City, the richest football club in the world, wanted to buy L. Messi from Barcelona I think, City said they would pay them, I think it was £150 million for the 22 year old player, they offered the player, half a million English pound per game, and the 22 greedy little twerp said, it wasn't enough money for 90 mins work, un bloody believable.

Alright! This is a team that can never be beaten! Well,, ok in spirit that is... But this is a great thing we're doing Mark, and I'm so excited for what's to come.
I'm going to mention it to some of the girls who are here right now for summer, and I'm sure this is going to ripple into a huge wave, a tidal wave!

Yes, sports sure can bring many friends together. Great looking teams. I also totally agree, there are too many sport people who get paid way too much.

Well how cool is that. Hey Mark...Robin is from my neck of the woods...Ohio. She's quite a gal, eh? I bet there isn't a player in all of Europe that can get a goal by Rockin' Robin. LOL. Thanks for this post, and the narrative, too.
