Chess notation in the old days. Also known as descriptive notation. In these modern times a form of notation called algebraic is used. As you can see, most opening moves, if they are sound or playable, have been studied into almost the midgame point. While that may be a problem for the chess professional...it's not for us amatures...we usually fall out of "book" early.

Never could get behind chess, guess I am not left brained enough ;) I had no idea this existed. Algebraic...very interesting and a good shot of the book. Thank you for sharing it.

In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10
