Perhaps it is the thought of the pending battle; whatever it is , this causes me to feel sad.....the close-up is strongly suggestive and though well composed, is a bit bright......done by candle-light?? perhaps daylight would work better but then you would lose the coulour..........P.

Interesting idea behind this photo, but I'm not sure what it is or how the quote describes the picture. The bright colour suggests heat and aggression to me, so maybe you've made your point about swords and battles.

It looks interesting but I don't get it.... at all.
