I'm venturing away from my normal subject matter now folks... I hope I won't regret this...but then life is all chance. Image of a sundial outside of the Depot museum in Duluth, Minnesota. I love this city...I get many vibes from its history. If there's one place that feels like home to me...it's there, even though I've never lived there.

Beautiful shot. I really like the perspective. And yes, Duluth is a wonderful city.

I really like the tight DOF you've captured here and the up close shot of the sundial needle. The lighting is good and allows the texture of the metal casting to be seen. The only thing that I think is missing from this is an object of interest at the focus point. Something like a word from the sundial or leaves...

Overall fantastic shot, thanks for sharing!

"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy." ~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
