Before anyone reads this, please look at the image and write down what emotions it conveys to you (if any). This image was a result of a couple things: First, on the right hand, is a drawing of the cross. The original was from a book titled "don't waste your life" by John Piper and included only the cross and the hanging Christ. I did not trace it but drew it by sight, added the bird on the top of the cross and the temple curtains splitting on the bottom. The Jesus in the middle is a picture I got from Google a year or two ago, and for the life of me can't find the original link. The praying hands were for an art 1 class, I asked my brother to model for me so I can redraw it on carving paper. The whole thing is something I put together to express the emotions pleading, suffering, asking "why?" (the bird), and hope. I hope it conveys that way. :) May G-d bless you all forever, sc

wow, thank you for sharing this. The Lord truly is good to us, is He not? To think that he sent His Son to die for the likes of us that we may have the privilege of spending eternity in His presence. This is a great piece, thank you!

I realize this was posted a long time ago and I hope you're still with Caedes and continuing with your art. This is truly a lovely image with heart and spirit. The only thing I think could improve is the steeple and cross in the bottom right. I had a hard time distinquishing what it is and I find the red color doesn't compliment the image in any way. Everything is in these hushed tones and ghostly layers except that one corner. I can see how it conveys the blood shed for man's sins with the pop of color but it's not quite working for me with the rest of the tones. Not sure how you could still convey the same thought and make it blend a little better...A really nice piece of art. Thanks for sharing your heart and talent! anne :-)

There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com. FREE website to share all your snaps plus a whole lot more. Thanks for giving honest and usable feedback. Blessings to all, anne :-)
