The last time I visited Yosemite 2 years ago. My mother was dying of brain cancer and wanted to see her beloved Tuolumne Meadows. We stopped at the bridge over this span of the river. She marveled at the colors, the textures, the geology, the beauty. I've spent enough time over my life in this area that no image can truly capture its beauty. Ansel Adams came close but truly needs to be experienced in person.
