As we get older, the simple things we find enjoyment in begin to float away. So much simpler the world of a child, to still be enamored by the simple beauty of a seed in the wind. Created entirely in Blender.
I don't know why this is being ignored - I'm quite impressed! I'd like to learn modelling, but I've heard Blender is pretty hard to figure out. The seeds are so soft and believable and the whole piece is so clean. The only thing I'm not sure about the the lighter blue at the bottom - because there's such a thin strip it doesn't seem to belong. But other than that I really like this clear, simple "shot".
(In case you're wondering: I didn't find this on the "Lonely Images" page and feel sorry for it, I saw it in the New Images ...)
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
Thanks for the feedback! I think the biggest part of learning any modeling program is getting use to thinking in 3D. Many other art forms are 2D, but once you get use to it, it's really cool. Blender isn't too different from any other top end modeling program (3d Max, Maya) with the exception of being free!
I have just found this -- certainly wasn't ignoring it. :-) I downloaded Blender but haven't got round to trying it yet. This looks (from the thumbnail) like a photo, which might be why nobody cottoned on. I found it when I looked in the New Images computer section. Lovely work.
