Hey nancy this is a lovely scene to behold and since I have not tried this method yet i can't offer any why's or how's but the effort was worth it my friend. > Tigs
After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
Nice work Nancy. The two colours are probably a result of the hillside on the left blocking just a little more of the light and hence leading to a different camera time and exposure (assuming you were on Auto). You might be able to lose some of the difference by playing around with the Photomerge settings in PS. Irrespective of this, it's a very attractive panorama, even though it is tilted slightly down towards the left - you may be able to correct this as well without losing too much of the overall shot after the necessary cropping.
Kevin's pointed out anything that I might, but I would like to say that you might be able to fix any problems that you perceive with the patch tool. I've been able to use that to my advantage many times. It's still a very nice job, Nancy.
It is a beautiful view Nancy, and so well named. I guess it will look very different when the leaves grow.
I use Autostitch and find it the simplest stitching prog ever
