Okay, in my defense I was being attacked by blackflies, this partridge was running like crazy, just glad you can tell it is one, a bit grainy, but felt like posting it anyway.

I can see he is in the 100 metre sprint - dashing away quickly! lol! Nice capture Scorp - those darn birds won't ever stay still long enough to capture them - you have to focus then move your camera in front of where they are running then try and capture them without moving your camera - says I who can't do it! lol! ...but it is what I try to do! :)

Wow, you got him. I have one of those focus on the fly adjustments on my camera that I've never tried to use. I learned about it in my photo class and it's supposed to be for sports shots. But whatever you used, it worked well !

Still, it's a pretty good shot, even though you had all those issues to deal with just to get the shot. Well, at least you can say that caedes also gives you good exercise. Thanks for sharing all your bird photos, it's always nice to see a new type of bird that I've never seen before.
