Two little hummers must have been fighting, because when I looked out onto the patio both of them were on the ground, when my husband went to see if they were okay, one flew off, but this one was still quite dazed, I am going to post two photos, I like this one best, but the hubster likes the next one better, you decide.

That is such an interesting photo...I knew they were small, but it didn't really register until I saw it like this. Good timing and unique photo!

I like this one the best of the two personally, though they are both quite good. Thank you for sharing this little drama with us all... Quite the capture!!

Wow, I've never seen one sitting still. In pictures like this, yes, but in real life, never. They are not really common where I live. It's cool to have actually held one of them.

Gosh Scorpie! I had no idea they were so tiny! Poor little thing! He does look a little stunned! I already looked at the other one - I am a rebel! lol! ....and I couldn't say - they are both very good!

Wow, how little! I didn't realize they were so small. This little one looks the worse for wear, lol.

I like them both as well. I looked at the 2nd one first too. :)
I really like the detail of the hummingbird on this one but the colour on the 2nd one. Both terrific shots. Glad to hear he's ok.

Wow...I hardly ever get a chance to see Hummingbirds, let alone even begin to start thinking about trying to take a picture of one and here you go and make friends with one and nurse it back to health!!! Such an awesome sight...well done!!

Such a pretty lil hummingbird and he looks grateful for your kindness. Nice use of your hand to show how small these guys are. His color is lovely and matches the green in the background. I liked both photos Nancy, but this is my favorite. Hope to see more of these precious hummers :^)

What an incredible shot. I have a few hummingbirds that live close to my house, but I never imagined having one perched on my finger. Id say you did a terrific job taking advantage of such a rare experience.
