This is the follow up to the first post, after this capture we set the hummingbird on the feeder and about 20 min later it had flown away. So, alls well that ends well. :)
I think I like this one better, only because it shows the colorful feathers. OMG, they are sooo tiny. I now have an even higher respect for a good capture a these little birds. Glad all turned out well.

He looks quite at ease sitting their on your husband's hand - he must be a gentle person! another great capture if this tiny bird - the fact you get such fantastic focus on these tiny birds tells me you are getting really good with that camera of yours Scorp!

Well, I have to say that I like this one better. I'm not sure why the breast feathers didn't show up in the other one, perhaps it was just the way the light was falling on them. He looks a little perkier here, and I've had one fly into my patio door..well, he's on here in recovery mode as well. I love the way they feel on your hand...so very warm..nice work :)
