Now that is quite a photo! In Oregon all the lighthouses are on land, and high up...due to their being such huge rock masses..so strange to see one in the water and not even on a bit of an island..its a very beautiful photo!! Are there rocks nearby that the lighthouse is warning boats about?But where were YOU? when yu took this photo???? I love the colours of the sand and the water..and the building..very very nice shot!!!

The more difficult the obstacle, the stronger one becomes after hurdling it.
Well there aren't many rocks around to ward ships about, just sandbars. And it is a rather sad and alone lighthouse, they shut it down a few years ago. I was in a small airplane and we circled the lighthouse a few times. Thanks for you comments everyone.

this is really a very unusual photo. Its one of those that you don't get many chances to capture. Really great color and seems like it would be hard to keep in focus.

Great shot. I've been there to see it in person. My aunt got married nearby on the beach, so that lighthouse brings back some great memories!
